Residents flooded social media sites paying homage to the ‘old girl’ of Chisham Avenue, with the premises’ famous buffet dinners rating plenty of mentions.

The site the hotel was built on is going to be redevelopment into a mixed use premises with eight commercial/office tenancies and 100 dwellings ranging from 98 to 120sq m. Planning approval was granted for the development during the June 12 ordinary meeting of council subject to conditions.
