Mundijong man (49) charged with historic child sex offences

ROCKINGHAM Detectives have charged a 49-year-old man in relation to historic child sex offences he allegedly committed as a teenager.

Detectives claimed the offences occurred between 1983 and 1985, with the first alleged incident taking place when the man was 16.

Four boys aged between seven and eight years old were allegedly assaulted.

The alleged offences occurred in Mundijong, Whitby and Mardella.

A Mundijong man was charged with 15 counts of indecent dealing with a child, nine counts of indecent acts, three counts of carnal knowledge against the order of nature and committing an act of gross indecency.

He is due to appear before Armadale Children’s Court on Monday, June 12.
