Next Rockingham Historical Society meeting to discuss threat of sub attacks in Cockburn Sound

THE threat of submarine attacks in Cockburn Sound about 100 years ago will be discussed at the next general meeting of the Rockingham District Historical Society on August 26.

WA Museum assistant curator of maritime archaeology Ross Anderson will give a talk called “Fear of the deep, anti-submarine defences of Cockburn Sound during the world wars” at the Rockingham Museum.
