Police claim a woman pointed a gun at customers at a Rockingham bar

POLICE claim a woman pointed a handgun at customers at a bar in Rockingham last night.

Police were called to the bar on Rockingham Road at 9.30pm following reports a woman had pointed a handgun at customers before leaving on foot. Customers were brought inside.

It is believed the woman had been dining at the bar prior to the incident.

A woman was arrested near the Rockingham Foreshore at about 9.45pm. A replica firearm was found nearby.

A 33-year-old woman from Waikiki has been charged with being armed or pretending to be armed in a way that may cause fear and unlicensed person possess firearm/ammunition.

She is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
