THE Major Crash Investigations Section is investigating a fatal crash which claimed the life of a male motorcyclist in Naval Base today.
About 8am, the man was riding his Yamaha motorcycle north along Rockingham Road.
It is believed the motorcyclist struck the side of a truck/trailer at the traffic control lights at the intersection of Rockingham Road and Link Road.
The truck/trailer was turning right at the intersection at the time.

The rider of the motorcycle died at the scene of the crash.
