Audiences will journey down Cherry Tree Lane, where George and Winifred Banks are struggling with their mischievous children Jane and Michael, whose latest nanny has just quit with a fit.

With the wind in the East, enter Mary Poppins, the “practically perfect” nanny who teaches with magic, and bonds with the children as no other nanny has.

With patience, kindness, a little bit of magic and maybe a “spoonful of sugar” Mary and her friend Bert help the family set things right.

Year 12 students Tanaya Murakami and Harry Stacey star in the musical.

Both students are studying ATAR Drama and have been involved in Tranby musicals through their time at the college.

Year 6 students Daniel Monteiro Pais and Maya Probert perform as Jane and Michael Banks.

The cast is made up of about 75 students who work with each other weekly, on weekends and in school holidays to ensure a professional production.
