A KEEN young fisherman from Waikiki has won the third annual Limited Edition Membership Lures competition run by Recfishwest.

Luke Satie (12) designed his Laser Pro 120 design with the aim of “catching big fish”.

It is green on top, blended down through the body of the lure to gold then into a purple on the belly, giving it the perfect silhouette profile.

Once notified as the winner, Luke and his family headed down to the Halco factory in Fremantle for a private tour with the lure experts.

Luke got an up close and personal look at lure design, artwork and graphics and testing on a tour that many fishers would die for.

Recfishwest chief executive officer Andrew Rowland said fishers could get their hands on one of Luke’s lures by visiting the Recfishwest Facebook page.

“This is a lure you can’t get anywhere else in the world,” he said.
