His passion for the game has landed him a nomination in this year’s HBF Junior Sports Heroes competition.
Orton has been selected to play for the Perth Glory U14 team next season and will train three to four times a week.
He is also registered with the Skills Acquisition Program (SAP), which is run by Football West, and plays soccer |for the Rockingham U12 side.

Orton told the Courier his favourite thing about the game was being part of a team.
‘I like meeting new people and travelling to different places, like Tasmania and Brisbane,’ he said.
‘I hope that in the future I will be selected to play at a professional level.’
Orton will attending Safety Bay Senior High School next year after his selection into the school’s prestigious soccer academy.
