HELEN Golisano was attracted to The Lip Lab concept because it allowed people to personalise a popular accessory – lipstick.
Ms Golisano saw Australia’s first Lip Lab in Sydney earlier this year and bought the licence for WA.
She recently launched the specialist centre at Skin Deep on Hay Street, a business she started 25 years ago.

READ NOWClients spend about half an hour with one of four consultants and create a personalised lipstick playing around with shade and texture.
The formula is then put in a microwave to soften it before being spun through a machine that eliminates air bubbles.
The lipstick is left to set in a mould and packaged.
Ms Golisano said the materials were “fully food grade”, all natural and there was a vegan range.
“I like that it’s a little bit of fun and we can personalise it with scents like champagne, nutella, mint and mimosa,” she said.
