US trip yields award for Claremont businesswoman

The Out of the Box Biz founding director was the only Australian winner at the awards and the software program company recognised her focus on getting people back in to face-to-face communication.

Ms Allen said she used the US program for tasks such as creating a newsletter and marketing campaigns.

As part of the prize, Ms Allen was interviewed on camera about herself and Out of the Box Biz with the video circulated worldwide.

“Attending the conference allowed me to meet many people associated with the company Ontraport so I could learn, ask questions and network with members from around the world. I have obtained a deeper understanding of current online marketing trends and learned more about the sophisticated software program,” she said.

Ms Allen started Out of the Box Biz, which has won three awards in the past year, in January last year and has attracted 120 members since.
