MEDICAL physics specialist Simon Goodall is one of the three cyclists from Wembley-based GenesisCare taking part in a cycle from Perth to Margaret River raising money for prostate cancer.
“I did this event last year – bought a bike in February and rode to Margaret River in September, then chucked the bike in the shed for six months,” he said.
“I probably don’t do enough cycling for an event like this… it will be more like 16 weeks of hard training.”

Each year, Genesis CancerCare performs about 350,000 treatments through its network of 27 sites, and is also active in research and partners with leading research organisations.
Currently, 20 centres across five states are running clinical trials.
