Caporn Young hosting second Big Call auction extravaganza

This time, instead of being held on one day, it will run for the entire month of March.

Homes in Cottesloe, Floreat and Subiaco are among 15 properties already listed for sale as part of The Big Call 2017.

Caporn Young CEO Richard Young said the The Big Call was a unique and innovative event, generating a huge amount of interest from buyers, sellers and the wider community, and proved hugely successful in driving results.

Last year’s event had a 100 per cent success rate; of the 12 properties that were listed for sale, one sold prior to auction, six sold under the hammer and the remainder sold through negotiation after the auctions.

Mr Young said part of the advantage of upcoming event was that it would harness the powerful momentum that came out of a collaborative effort – with dozens of properties promoted together and then auctioned across an action-packed month.

“Like most things in life, something that works in synergy is much stronger than the sum of its parts; that’s what The Big Call is all about,” he said. “The large amount of publicity surrounding the event means more ready-to-act buyers’ eyes on your property, and more bidders competing to own it on auction day.

“As a seller, you retain complete control over the reserve – the price that the property will not sell below – as well as having the opportunity of a ‘blue sky’ result well above expectation.” n
