While the brothers were unable to top off Cottesloe Rugby Union Club’s 120th year with a premiership, Nick celebrated his 23rd birthday on the day by winning man of the match.

Nedlands Rugby Union Football Club claimed the premiership cup with a 20-14 victory over the Gulls, making it third time lucky for the Foreshore team that have finished second the past two years.

Brett, a former WA player and past president, has been involved with the Cottesloe club for 25 years and still plays in the Fifth Grade competition.
