THE Love Finders Band will be bringing the sounds of classic blues, rock and pop to Stringybark Winery & Restaurant in Lower Chittering this Sunday from 3pm.
The band plays everything from the blues classics of Muddy Waters to favourites by Dean Martin, Men At Work, Bob Seger, Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, REM, Paul Kelly and many more.
The band features electric violinist and former sideman to the stars Rupert Guenther.
Guenther has has worked with The Beatles’ producer Sir George Martin and other stars like Olivia-Newton John, John Farnham and Demis Roussos.
He teams up with Wanneroo band The Love Finders with Michael King on vocals and guitar, Campbell Carew on drums, and Nathan King on bass.
“People keep telling us they love our songs and the whole vibe of the band,” Guenther said.
“That’s what we aim for – to give people a taste of great music from good-hearted folks who love playing together.
“It’s nice for me to be playing in smaller venues to local audiences again. And to have a band made up of my best friends – I think that’s really important, and audiences sense that.”
