Doors ‘explode’ as landspout tornado strikes near Toodyay

TOODYAY residents had a frightening experience yesterday afternoon when what appears to be a landspout tornado hit the town.

The landspout formed about 4.50pm yesterday.

A clean up operation is underway at a nearby residence after ‘French doors exploded’.

Kitchen windows on the opposite side of the house were also broken.
