THE hot weather and risk of fire has forced the closure of Avon Valley National Park for a fourth time this summer.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife will close the park for nearly a week, from 8am tomorrow, January 24 to January 30.
It follows the Bureau of Meteorology issuing a fire danger rating.
People are urged to avoid the area.
To find out what the fire danger rating means to you, visit www.dfes.wa.gov.au or call 9323 9300 during office hours.
Check the danger rating for your area by visiting www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 213.
