Man in serious condition after Chittering crash

A MAN received serious head and internal injuries when his Holden ute crashed into a tree on Great Northern Highway in Chittering yesterday morning.

About 9.45am, the white Holden Colorado was travelling north, approximately 1km north of the Chittering Roadhouse when it left the road and struck a tree.

The driver, a male in his 30s had to be freed from the vehicle by emergency services and he was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is in a serious but stable condition.
