Australian merino wool is extremely versatile. Designers love the fibre because of its breathability, warmth, elegant look, luxurious feel and ease of tailoring.

EFWA founder Zuhal Kuvan-Mills said the EFWA 2017 media launch would be a celebration of Australian merino fibre as an incredibly sustainable resource.

“Australian wool is lovingly cultivated by generations of wool growing Australian farmers who nurture every step of the growing process to deliver one of the earth’s finest and most sustainable precious fibres,” she said.

“Merino wool is a completely renewable fibre. Australian merino sheep produce a new fleece every year and it is 100 per cent biodegradable.”
