NORTHAM detectives have charged 17 people with more than 150 drugs and weapons offences after a series of raids across Perth’s outer suburbs.
Police searched seven properties in the Avon Valley area as part of the raids, seizing more than 100g of methamphetamine, $40,000 in cash, $30,000 of jewellery, a black Jeep Patriot and weapons.
Detective Sergeant Anthony Pymm issued a warning to potential criminals in the area as the charges were announced today.

“If you are going to deal, source or profit from the sales of drugs in the Wheatbelt area, we will actively target you and those associates you conduct illegal business with, from the lowest level users and dealers right up to the suppliers,” he said.
