Northam: Police investigate second crash involving kids in less than 24 hours

WA Police are investigating a second serious crash involving a car hitting a child in less than 24 hours.

Northam Police are investigating a crash yesterday in which a 16-year-old boy received serious injuries while walking along Peel Terrace Bridge.

A Holden Commodore driving east along the bridge hit the boy while he was attempting to cross the road at 2.45pm.

The 45-year-old male driver stopped at the scene and the boy was taken to Northam Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash preceded another one in which a 12-year-old boy was hit by a car in Maylands.
