Police investigate death of Northam man

UPDATE: Inquiries by police have determined the death of the 52-year-old man was not suspicious. Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

EARLIER: HOMICIDE Detectives are investigating the death of a Northam man found seriously injured about 2am this morning.

Police called to the Queen Street residence said the man, believed to be aged in his 50s, was taken to Northam Hospital.

The man died and detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Homicide Squad detectives and forensic officers from Perth are at the scene.
