Police plane deployed in hunt for missing man

A POLICE plane has been deployed as part of an urgent search for a missing man in Toodyay.

Police Air Wing has joined the hunt for James Harrison, who hasn’t been seen since Sunday afternoon.

State Emergency Service volunteers are also searching for the 37-year-old missing man, along with mounted police and ground searchers.

“Today’s search involves the use of SES mounted searchers, SES ground searchers, WAPF Mounted Police and Police personnel,” a spokesman for WA Police said.

“The search is ongoing with State Emergency Service volunteers being deployed into the search area. Police Air Wing are deploying a plane to conduct an air search of the area.”

Mr Harrison was last seen leaving his home on Sunday afternoon.

He is described as fair skinned, slim build, approximately 187cm tall with short brown hair, and was last seen wearing red and black shorts, a singlet and grey and white sneakers.

Concerns are held for his welfare and anyone who sees James is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
