Basketball: record number of teams register for Hills Raiders Basketball Association season

Justin BianchiniHills Avon Valley Gazette

The Hills Raiders Basketball Association has had to roster five time slots over eight courts to accommodate games.

An association spokeswoman said the new recreation centre, due for completion at the end of 2017, would be a welcome relief.

With an extra four indoor courts to add to the current eight outdoors, the Raiders would be able to increase their registrations “even more”.

“The interest is certainly there,” she said.
