The Saturday competition was a random draw prior to racing while the Sunday event was for plates on a regular 20 inch BMX and Cooper was competing against 27 other 15 year olds.
The top 16 go into the two semi finals rounds and the top four go into the final with eight competitors in the final race.
Cooper took outline honours in the Sunday event for the number one plate.
It was the first time at the event a competitor from outside Victoria has walked away with wins in both classes in a state championship.
“I’m so stoked with a double win, all that training was worth it,” Cooper said.
