Performing as part of the Canning World Arts Exchange (CWAE) last Saturday at the Shelley foreshore, the Ede people played their gongs along- side Sydney-based Taikoz drummers and New York-based Link Dancers, with choreography by modern dance pioneer Douglas Dunn.

The Canning Community Choir assembled to sing in Vietnamese, while Middar Aboriginal dancers also took to the stage.

The production reflected the CWAE’s philosophy of collaborating with international guest artists. The one-time collaborations create new and unique cultural experiences that entertain and demonstrate the power art has to inspire.
