RESIDENTS in Bentley and Canning Vale rank among the state’s most prolific online shoppers, with beauty products proving the most popular purchase.

A national survey commissioned by Australia Post named Canning Vale as number four in the top five in 2015.

Last financial year, Australia Post delivered $14.3 billion worth of material goods throughout the country, up more than 6 per cent on 2014, which famously delivered the 200-year-old company more than $200 million in losses after consumers moved away from traditional post to couriers.

In good news for Australian businesses, domestic goods made up 73 per cent of the online spending market in Australia, and the Eastern States made up 75 per cent of all online customers.
