Pia van StraalenCanning Gazette

THROUGHOUT the school holidays, Bentley Library had 10 cute reasons to warrant a visit.

As part of a hatching program, the library incubated 10 chicken eggs for children and adults to watch hatch.

Fitted with an electronic thermostat, the eggs were kept at the right temperature for a high hatch rate and large viewing windows for children to see all stages of hatching.
