Bentley SwanCare having a cuppa for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Pia van StraalenCanning Gazette

RESIDENTS and staff at Bentley-based SwanCare will be making a cuppa to make a difference on May 26 as part of the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraising event.

Among the participants at the Waminda wing, it has not been hard to stir the residents into action given that everyone agrees a mug of freshly brewed English breakfast, Earl Grey or even camomile warms the cockles during Perth’s cooler autumn days.

Cancer Council statistics reveal 275 Australians are diagnosed with cancer every day and one in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before they reach 85.
