Canning commissioner Linton Reynolds decided the City will inform Local Government Minister Tony Simpson that it supports recommendation one of the inquiry report.
Canning chief executive Lyn Russell said she will update Mr Simpson about improvements to the administrative and governance processes at the City.
‘Significant improvements have been made by the administration since the suspension of council in 2012. Canning is now a local government of best practice in many areas,’ she said.
