Curtin Uni researcher calls for volunteers for study into autism

A CURTIN University PhD candidate has put out a call for volunteers to take part in research into how children with an autism spectrum disorder respond to changes in their |visual environment.

Research investigator Yi Huey Lim said children with autism, Asperger’s syndrome or pervasive developmental disorder and their parents were needed for the study.

She said findings from this study might provide more understanding on how children with autism viewed the world and strategies for early intervention.
