Curtin Uni researchers on the look out for new mums and dads who want to be more active

As part of the research, parents with young children are encouraged to take part in a specially-designed physical activity program.

Mums or dads to a three-month-old baby to two-year-old toddler, aged over 18 and currently doing less than 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity or 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week, are invited to take part in the study.

Psychology PhD student Rachel Carr said research suggested that between the ages of 25 and 35 there was a reduction in physical activity that increased risks of ill health.
