Ehab Elmowafy: police confirm sighting of missing Canning Vale man, but search continues

POLICE have confirmed a sighting of missing Canning Vale man Ehab Elmowafy.

He was seen about 12.25am on October 11 on a train on the Midland line.

A person took a photo and conversed with him on a train travelling to Midland from Perth.

Me Elmowafy alighted at Midland and walked away in an easterly direction from Midland train station.

Anyone who can assist can call Police on 131 444.

Police have been concerned about the 22-year-old who went missing after a late-night visit to Curtin University Library on Wednesday October 5.

He is described as 185cm tall, with a slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

His disappearance has been described as out of character.
