A KITCHEN sink was among the dumped items and litter cleared out of Adenia Park in Riverton on the weekend.

The Canning River Regional Park Volunteers were joined his year by the Murdoch Guild Volunteers for their Clean Up Australia Day event.

In all, 62 people donned hats and gloves to take on the trash, even coming across a turtle shell.

“We wanted to thank the City if Canning’s Bush Crew and our sponsor, Stockland Riverton,” Canning River Regional Park Volunteers treasurer Clarie Kennedy said.
