Families Fiesta offers fun for the clan in Cities of Canning and Gosnells

A WEEK of family fun launches next week across the Cities of Canning and Gosnells with a strong focus on fun communities.

From May 15 to 21, a range of activities will be on offer for youngsters of all ages as part of the Families Fiesta.

A family scavenger hunt kicks-off the week at Riverton Library on May 15, with families searching for clues and participating in entertaining activities together, before enjoying a sausage sizzle.

The huge range of other activities on offer include an animal fun day, teddy bear story time, environmental extravaganza activities, local family centre open days, community services expo, a parenting workshop and a free session at leisure centres to swim and enjoy the local pools

The event is part of National Families Week, which this year has the theme Stronger Families, Stronger Communities.
