Feast Day a celebration of namesake

Staff ReporterCanning Gazette

Each year, the school celebrates Feast Day to remember the example set by Mary.

Assistant principal Russell Wylie said the day was celebrated with a cake, the release of balloons with messages written by students, a quiz about the school and a tabloid carnival.

‘It allows us to remember the history of the school and its beginnings in Riverton back in 1951 and the traditions that have formed since then ” factions, the motto ‘love, unity and peace’, the logo, the connection with the parish and the school community that has been involved over the years,’ he said.
