A 34-year-old Canning Vale woman has been charged with child sexual abuse offences allegedly stemming from a relationship with a teenage student at the school at which she was teaching.
Police claim the incidents occurred at a high school while the female student was between 15 and 17-years-old.
The invidents allegedly occurred between 2015 and 2017.
The woman has been charged with four counts of indecently dealing with a child over 16 years under their authority, two counts of sexual penetration of a child over 16 under their authority, three counts of indecently dealing with a child between 13 and 16-years-old, two counts of sexual penetration of a child between 13 and 16 and one count of persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16.
The woman will appear at the Perth Magistrates Court on October 18.
