Ferndale home invasion: police seek three men over assault with baseball bat, machete and hammer

CANNING Vale police are looking for three offenders who attacked two people during a violent home invasion.

Around 7pm on March 19, the men entered a home on Dongala Way in Ferndale armed with a baseball bat, machete and hammer.

The men entered by smashing a sliding door and approached the occupants, striking a male across the back.

The man’s wife attempted to disarm one of the offenders of his hammer, before they both fell to the ground.

The offenders then fled in a white Holden sedan.

Police have released CCTV images of three men who they believe can assist with inquiries.

The first man was described as 20-30 years of age with a solid build, short dark hair and unshaven, wearing a T-shirt and long pants.

The second man was 18-25 years of age with a thin build, wearing a long-sleeve top with an emblem on the front, long pants and a baseball cap.

The third man was 25-35 years of age with a medium build, wearing a T-shirt with long pants and a baseball cap.
