Funding will help Zonta House continue improving Perth women’s lives

BENTLEY community organisation Zonta House has been awarded a $10,000 for their efforts improving the lives of women at risk.

For more than 30 years, Zonta House have supported women who have experienced family and domestic violence, mental health, homelessness and other life crises.

Zonta House provides refuge and transitional accommodation, holistic support services and education to women over the age of 18.

Zonta House Project Officer Karen Brittain said women had the right to safety.

“All women should experience safe and sustainable life choices. We hope to provide support services to women who have experienced family and domestic violence, homelessness and other crises enabling them the opportunity to make safe and sustainable life choices,” she said.

Ms Brittain said the grant, provided by the Westpac Foundation would go straight to supporting clients.
