The club has teamed up with the Heart Foundation, offering a month’s free membership in return for a $10 donation to the group, and raising funds through its 12-Week Challenge.
When people sign up for the Challenge, they can join a ‘transformative’ program which focuses on a weight loss or lifestyle change, or a ‘fitter, faster, stronger’ program, designed for people who want to increase their current level of fitness.
Goodlife trainer Adam Grossman is working with 23 club members, supporting them through their Challenge, and supporting the Heart Foundation at the same time.
‘We’ve jumped online for the Everyday Hero fundraising website,’ he said.
‘They can link it to their Facebook page, donate, and have friends sponsor them through the 12-Week Challenge that they have.’
He said the members were hoping to raise $3000.
