Help wanted over Welshpool fire

ARSON Squad detectives want information to assist with their investigation into a building fire in Welshpool on Tuesday, March 14, which caused an estimated $9 million damage.

About 10.25pm, police and fire and emergency services were called to the warehouse on Pilbara Street.

The fire caused extensive structural damage to the building.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured who they believe can help them with their investigation.

The man is described as being aged between 20 and 35, with a tanned complexion, about 180cm tall and having a slim build.

He was wearing black pants, a light-coloured long-sleeve shirt, black boots and a black baseball cap with a white motif.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
