MINING services group Ausdrill sent off Australia’s women’s hockey team, the Hockeyroos, in style to the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

At a low-key barbeque at their Canning Vale premises all 27 squad members attended a farewell ahead of the Rio Olympics this August.

The Hockeyroos hope to add to their tally of three gold medals, which they won at the 1988 Seoul, 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney Olympics.

The Hockeyroos’ record also includes two World Cups and four Commonwealth Games gold medals.

Prior to the Olympics, the Hockeyroos will be competing in the prestigious Champions Trophy in London next month with the Olympic squad to be finalised shortly after.

Ausdrill came on board as major partner of the Hockeyroos in March 2012, in the lead up to the London Olympics.
