Indonesian culture to be celebrated in Cannington

The event marks the first anniversary of the Komunitas Cinta Berkain Indonesia in WA – an organisation established to celebrate and conserve Indonesian fabrics and fashion.

The group began in Indonesia in 2014 and opened its second branch in WA on April 23 last year after the launch of a chapter in the United States in 2015.

The WA branch has 135 people who share a love of Indonesian fabrics.

The cultural event will be held at the Rocks Church, 26 Cecil Avenue, Cannington, from 5pm to 10pm. Tickets are $35 per person and include an Indonesian buffet dinner. Call Laksmi Hayes on 0410 287 269 for more information.
