KEEN to learn how to beatbox in the school holidays?

Bookings are still open for the beatboxing clinic at Riverton Library, Soul Sea mermaids at Cannington library, and Wizard Whirrindir the story teller at Bentley Library.

This year, the free school holiday activities are part of a Venture Beyond the Sea theme Mayor Paul Ng said.

“The feedback from the City’s Strategic Community Plan was that our community wanted to see more varied and accessible community events, services and facilities,” he said.

“Canning libraries have responded to this and taken the lead in the provision of a variety of free events and programs for our community.

“We know that school holidays can sometimes be an expensive time for parents trying to keep young ones entertained, so this is a great opportunity for our residents and the wider Perth community to keep children amused and save some money.”

Activities on offer including a braiding basics workshop for dads and daughters, strategic board gaming activities for teens, and storytelling session for little ones, so there’s something for everyone.
