Ben SmithCanning Gazette

AFTER more than three decades of giving blood, Lyle Bennet has reached an incredible donation milestone.

The Jandakot resident made his 300th blood donation at Cannington Blood Donor Centre, just in time for National Blood Donor Week from June 9 to 15.

Mr Bennet said he began donating blood in the 1980s when he and a friend saw an advertisement for new donors.
