The offences were committed on March 28 and May 28 last year.

The business was convicted for failing to store food in such a way that it was protected from the likelihood of contamination and failing to store potentially hazardous food under temperature control.

Ms Lim’s daughter Ivy said her mum is working on improving everything in the kitchen to make sure everything is up to the standard of cleanliness.

“We’ll ensure something like this won’t happen again,” she said.

“We’ve updated the rules and regulations and making sure the staff is on the same track.”
