After heading out to pick up an alarm for his father-in-law, Mr Bransby said he was so impressed by the price of each of the fire alarms he decided to buy the entire stock in the store– 135.

“They were cheap, so cheap they should have been giving them away so I bought all they had,” he said.

Mr Bransby said that he planned to install the alarms in homes lived in by seniors, pensioners or those unable to install or afford to have the safety device themselves.
