New year new facilities for Willetton Senior High

STUDENTS from Willetton Senior High School rang in the new school year with upgraded facilities.

The start of the school year marked the end of the $14.2 million school rebuilding process, which followed on from stage one upgrades completed in 2015 to the tune of $39 million.

The completed stage includes a two-storey and single-storey building and includes 16 learning areas, support and store rooms, a medical centre, IT area, eating area, a medical centre and staff areas.

Riverton MLA Mike Nahan welcomed the completion.

“The rebuild of Willetton SHS is one of my proudest achievements as the Member for Riverton and it’s incredibly special to see the new facilities open for the school year,” he said.
