Pharmacists forum keeps connection

The idea behind the forum came from Curtin University PhD student Kenneth Lee (25).

The Winthrop resident was awarded the WA Young Pharmacist of the Year for connecting pharmacists across the state.

The pharmacy student said he created the online forum for practising pharmacists.

"I realised that keeping up-to-date can be uniquely challenging in our profession; we have to keep abreast of evidence surrounding new medications entering the Australian market, legislative changes to the supply of medications, product recalls, updated guidelines for managing long term medical conditions, and retail-related matters," Mr Lee said.
