Police employee charged with unlawful computer use

A 67-year-old police employee has been charged with 10 counts of unlawfully using a computer, but remains working in a limited capacity.

The man is from the South East Metropolitan District and was charged by internal affairs officers.

It will be alleged the man, who works as a customer service officer, committed the offences between May 2008 and April 2013.

The man will appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
