BIG MAC lovers raised a collective $7000 at Riverton and Willetton’s McDonalds stores for McHappy Day on October 14.

The money goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities which provides crucial support to families of seriously ill children.

Opposition leader and Riverton MLA Mike Nahan visited the Riverton stores to help owners Janiene and David Pollock rattle tins and serve Big Macs with $2 from each sold going to charity.

More than $3.8 million was raised nationally.
